夢がない人は地位に固執します
って、書いてあった。
プレジデントの2004年８月２号 ウェザーニュース社長 石橋博良さん
いや、コレには衝撃食らったね。
言っていることは当たり前なんだけど、この表現と、人の心理の本質をさらっと言い抜いた言葉に。
まじ、衝撃食らったね。
人生考えさせられますよ。

いやあ、そこらへんの安っぽい本を10冊読むよりも、この一言には価値があるね。
プレジデントなんか読む予定ではなかったが、HBSRを他の人が呼んでいて読めなかったので、偶然とった今年の夏のプレジデント。偶然の出会いです。セレンディピティか？って、そればっかだな。
そういえば、昔、こんなようなことを書いたな。
ある物事が起こったとする。そのことを期待していた場合は、喜びとか衝撃が、期待というものを基準に決まる。あらかじめ期待していると、頭の中でどうなるか予想しているということなので、衝撃度が小さくなる場合が多い。
一方で、期待していなかった場合は、想像もしていないことが起こり衝撃が大きい。喜びも大きい。予期していないことが起こると、期待してきた時よりも感じ方が大きいのだ。これは、人が隠れていていきなり驚かされた時と基本的に同じなのだと思う。
ということで、何も期待していなくてプレジデントのこの言葉に会えたので、衝撃が大きかったです。
昨日書いた「人生の座標軸」をさっそく読み終わりました。
吾人の任務と比べれば、読み応えはないですが、やはりこの方は本物だと思います。
